Residents resuming activities
Hello and welcome to the Vian Nursing and Rehab News. Its been a long road these past few years, thank you COVID 19, but we have survived and are enjoying life once again.
We have resumed activities and social events again and are very excited about some upcoming events. Let me share a few.
We have Gerry Baze coming to sing the oldies but goodies for us, and Michael Waylon Ministries, the Holiness Choir, Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and Canterbury Chapel all coming to share the gospel with us.
We have several new volunteers that will be coming to play games and do arts and crafts, which they all enjoy. We are once again shopping, going to the mall and of course, dining out.
The guys are anxious for the temperature to go down a bit so we can go fishing and just to enjoy the great outdoors, maybe have a picnic. Sounds like a good time to me.
With fall around the corner we will be taking walks, going for drives, making pumpkin wreaths for our doors and much, much more.
In closing, we are starting a new segment to our news called “Resident Shout Out.” This month‚s shout out goes to Wade and Loretta, Teresa and Barry and Larry Dale from your mom Norma T. I love you all always and forever.
