During the week of October 3 to 10, Sequoyah County Law Enforcement tended to 23 animal calls, 80 traffic stops, along with numerous medical and domestic calls according to police reports. Following is a list of incidents included from the last two week‚s reports:
10/03/22
2:45 p.m.– In the vicinity of E. 1090 Rd, RP advised that her mother is now deceased and that her property was supposed to be split up between family members but her sister has stolen one of the vehicles. -Roger Johnson spoke to RP via phone call.
4:41 p.m.– In the vicinity of E. 1093 Rd, RP would like for a deputy to go tell his neighbors to get their boats off of his pond. -Roger Johnson responded to this call.
10:03 p.m.– Argument At Loves. Two men, one wearing a plaid shirt and blue jeans and the other wearing a black shirt and ball cap having a heated argument. -Vian PD and Mark Choate responded to this call.
11:28 p.m.– Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of E. 1082 Rd, RP advised that a female walked up to their residence stating that she had walked from I-40 and needed a ride to the gas station. RP did not know who the female was, she stated that she was from Arkansas. -Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded to this call.
10/04/22
10:40 a.m.– Welfare Check- In the vicinity of S. 4710 Rd, RP is requesting a welfare check on her mother.. RP stated that the sister contacted her and told her that she is having to force feed their mother and the RP is concerned. -Roger Johnson responded to this call.
11:10 a.m.– Domestic- In the vicinity of Chicken Creek, RP advised there is a Chevy SUV black in color, seems to be a rolling domestic. The vehicle had its flashers on. -Roger Johnson responded to this call.
11:38 p.m. – Welfare check- in the vicinity of S. 4724 Rd, RP called Muldrow PD stated that a subject text her two hours ago. Muldrow PD is checking that area however they want a deputy to go check his residence. -Roger Johnson responded to this call.
10/5/22
1:20 a.m.– Suspicious Person- 307 advised out with a white male wearing blue jeans, gray T-shirt, on a report of him stealing something from a house down the street. -Vian PD responded to this call.
4:07 a.m.– Traffic- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64 and Dwight Mission. RP advised that there is a white semi and rig sitting in the middle of the road, blocking traffic to where traffic has to go around it. -Allen Ramey and Mark Choate responded to this call.
10:55 a.m.– Drugs- Got called to Brushy School in reference to kids finding marijuana and lighting it to see how it smells. -Robert Johnson responded to this call.
2:20 p.m.– Information In the vicinity of S. 4710 Rd, RP advised that her neighbor keeps flashing her and her children when she drives by. She stated his name, when he sees her pass by he will come out to the mailbox and flash her. -Matt Jones responded to this call.

1:08 a.m. – Prowler- In the vicinity of E. 1117 Rd, RP advised there was someone in her backyard they were attempting to steal her lawnmower. They are in a tan and brown shirt and jeans. They are still in the backyard. -Trevor Charlton responded to this call.
9:46 a.m.– Breaking and Entering- At Fin & Feather, RP needs to file a report of a breaking and entering on Friday. She stated that one of their housekeepers went into a room and it has been broken into. This happened on Sept. 30 and they broke in to the room again last night. -Jeremy Day responded to this call.
4:35 p.m.– Child- In the vicinity of E. 965 Rd. RP advised that she went to pick her child up and the property owners came out and was yelling and cussing at them, and threatening that they will be arrested. RP also advised that one of the homeowners was holding a gun out at them and that another subject has a weapon as well. RP advised her son has been then for months and she has been trying to get him back and no paperwork has been filed. -Jeremy Day responded to this call.
6:49 p.m.– Fire- in the vicinity of E. 1063 Rd, RP advised there Is a brush pile burning at the address and would like a deputy because we are under a burn ban. -Charles Webber responded to this call.
8:49 p.m.– Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4750 Rd, RP advised her ex-boyfriend showed up at her residence and assaulted her by backhanding her in the face and pushing her down. She left the residence to go to her neighbors house to call 911. Male subject is still at her address he is driving a black Range Rover. Parties are separated at this time. Male party does not have any weapons with him but there is a pistol in the home. -Trevor Carlton and Cody Parkerson took this report.
10/7/22
9:18 a.m.– Welfare check-In the vicinity of S. 4602 Rd, RP advised that there is a male running back and forth across the road. -Brian Stone and Colton Goff responded to this call.
1:04 p.m.– Threats- In the vicinity of E. 1125 Rd, RP advised that their neighbors are drunk and making threats. -Brian Stone And Colton Goff responded to this call.
4:22 p.m.– Fire- RP advised her neighbor is burning brush and she is afraid it will come over in her yard. She would like a deputy to make contact with the neighbors. -call Cancelled prior to deputy arrival.
5:00 p.m.– Trespassing- In the vicinity of Hwy. 64. RP stated that he is not at home, but that his ex-wife is at his property taking pictures of her on the RP‚s property and texting the pics to the RP. -Shane Petree responded to this call.
7:52 p.m.– Assault- Jail advised they had an inmate assault a jailer, as well as another inmate. Everything is 10-90 parties are separated they just want to make a report. -Mark Choate and Austin Blackfox responded to this call.
10/8/22
12:32 a.m.– Threats- In the vicinity of Hwy. 59, RP called and reported that her daughter‚s phone charger is missing and the daughter is angry, threatening to burn down the house with him in it. She says she has gasoline and is looking for a source to light it.-Austin Blackfox and Mark Choate responded to this call.
12:58 a.m.– Domestic- RP advised that his daughter‚s boyfriend arrived at the residence with a knife threatening to stab everyone. Daughter is pregnant. He left on a bike going toward the cemetery. -Austin Blackfox and Mark Choate responded to this call
2:36 a.m.– Prowler- The jail advised they had received a call stating that there was someone at the residence and the phone disconnected. Dispatch made many attempts to contact with the female with no luck. Did locate a possible address in ODIS. -Allen Ramey made no contact.
6:08 a.m.– Welfare Check-In the vicinity of N. Stockton Lane. RP advised that she received a text message from her neighbor asking for help. RP advised that she has been involved in domestic situations before. – Muldrow PD and Roger Johnson made an arrest.
12:50 p.m. – Other- in the vicinity of S. 4717 Rd, RP advised a subject is at the residence and has warrants through Cherokee and Crawford counties and would like a deputy to come get him. – Roger Johnson responded to this call.
3:50 p.m. Domestic- In the vicinity of S. 4610 Road, RP advised her daughter and granddaughter have been staying in their home. Her husband and daughter got into an argument and her daughter tried to leave with the juvenile. RP then advised the situation turned physical and both parties were hitting each other. RP advised she does not believe her her daughter is in the right state of mind to care for the juvenile and is not going to let her take the baby. All parties are separated at this time and there are no weapons. – Shane Petree responded to this call.
5:05 p.m.– Harassment- In the vicinity of S. Winn St, RP advised the father of her child is harassing and threatening her, and will not stop even after being told. She would like to make a report.- Gore PD responded to this call.
6:12 p.m.– Shooting firearms- RP advised that someone is shooting at the big red signs beside the dam. RP advised that it must be upstream from the dam because he could not hear gunshots, he only heard bullets hitting the signs and he and his kids had to get out of there. – Austin Blackfox responded to this call.
10/9/22
6:17 a.m.– Traffic- RP advised of a car stopped in the roadway with the lights on and it appears someone has slumped over. Received a second call they went back to get more info and as he approached, he saw the vehicle had went off the road and into a fence and they were trying to back out. RP was going to stay in the area until someone arrived. OHP was notified. – Brian Stone, Roger Johnson, Shane Petree responded to this call.
7:03 a.m.– Speak with deputy- In the Brushy area, RP has an ongoing land dispute with neighbor and wants to go there to resolve it. Would like to speak with the deputy about options. – Brian stone advised it was civil.
10:05 a.m.– Property Dispute- RP advised that someone has taken down his fence and put up no trespassing signs. He believes he knows who did it. – Brian Stone spoke to party via phone.
4:00 p.m.– Disturbance In the vicinity of S. 4770 Road, RP advised that her daughter has been yelling, screaming and cussing at her all day. She wants to know what she can do. – Roger Johnson spoke to RP via phone.
4:05 p.m.– Other- RP advised that his wife and kids were driving down the road and his wife tried to get out of the vehicle while it was moving. He pulled onto the shoulder and she got out of the vehicle and walked into the woods. She is wearing a tank top, leggings and purple flip flops. She has red hair that is shaved on the sides. He tried to locate her but was unable to with his young children. He has taken the children to his parents in Van Buren. – Roger Johnson responded to this call.
6:30 p.m.– Suspicious Person- In the vicinity of the Barnowski Cemetery area. RP advised three young males walking around with rifles down by the low water bridge area. – Mark Choate responded to this call.
7:08 p.m.– Suspicious Person- Intoxicated male walking around at the end of the street with no shirt, jeans, cowboy hat and a bottle in his hand. – Vian PD responded to this call.
8:02 p.m. – Disturbance In the vicinity of S. 4595 Road, RP advised that her daughter is there causing problems and things have been taken that should have not been removed from the property. RP advised the daughter is stating that RP has put bruises on her. – Mark Choate responded to this call.
8:45 p.m.– Robbery- At the Dollar General, received a call about someone attempting to rob a cashier. – Gore PD responded to this call.
11:24 p.m.– Threats- In the vicinity of S. 4670 Rd. RP advised after leaving his residence to pick up his granddaughter from work, a vehicle got behind and followed him for a few miles before passing him, then stopping in the roadway and approaching him, making threats. RP would like to speak with a deputy. – Cody Parkerson responded to this call.
11:38 p.m.– Complaint RP, after cussing dispatch, advised she wanted to speak with the deputies that had just left her residence. Phone number was received from caller ID after RP gave bogus phone number. RP stated during rant that she had been punched in the mouth by an unknown person that she claimed assaulted her years ago. She advised that this female has taken over her house and she wants it back. – Austin Blackfox responded to this call.
10/10/22
8:36 a.m.– Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of S. 4764 Road. RP advised her landlord was her attorney and he is trying to kick her out and take possession of everything, and she hasn‚t been served any papers. – Galen Irvin responded to this call.
11:06 a.m.– Traffic- RP advised that a male individual has been harassing her and her family, and today he attempted to hit her with his vehicle while they were driving. She‚s going to Sheriff‚s Office to file report. -Jeremy Day responded to this call.
11:40 a.m. -Speak with Deputy- RP advised that he was told he could not fire a weapon at night and he was wanting to speak with a deputy to see if it was true.- Brian Stone responded to this call.
1:34 p.m.– Speak With Deputy- RP advised that his firearm was in his son‚s Jeep and his son went to a party Saturday evening. They have noticed that the firearm is no longer in the Jeep and would like to make a report. – Brian Stone responded to this call
1:34 p.m. -Speak with Deputy- In the vicinity of Moonshine Road, RP advised she and her husband got into an altercation and she left last week. She has called trying to file a report and after two attempts, had no answer or call back. She is wanting to make a report regarding the altercation but is in Colorado now and wants to speak with a deputy regarding the situation.Jeremy Day responded to this call.
3:01 p.m. – Shooting Firearms- In the vicinity of E. 980 Rd. RP advised that he believes Wednesday night the two-story apartment on their property that their daughter sleeps in, was shot at and there is a hole in the wall where the bullet hit where she sleeps. -Galen Irvin responded to this call.
5:44 p.m.– Assault- RP advised the neighbor kids were in his yard when he got back. RP advised they were cussing him, had a stick and stabbed him in the arm. Does not need EMS. Threatened to shoot him with a 30-30. -Cody Parkerson responded to this call.
11:34 p.m.– At Loves, V307 advised manager called advising a male was harassing customers and asking for money. -Vian PP responded to this call.
