Sallisaw Chamber member of the month

Sallisaw Chamber of Commerce president Treye Girdner (left) presents the November Member of the Month plaque to members of Sallisaw’s Pastors Fellowship, including (from left) Austin Carrigan, United Faith Church; Jim Hollifield, First United Methodist Church; and Steve Myers, First Christian Church. Two of the fellowship’s biggest community ministry campaigns are a back-to-school outreach, which includes gift cards for 170 teachers and 100 support staff to purchase needed classroom items, and a Christmas outreach, in which the fellowship provides a meal basket to more than 150 area families and more than 280 children’s gifts.
