Star of Bethlehem Quilt winner announced

Nikki Allen (center) is the recent winner of the Star of Bethlehem quilt, made by Reba Luce (left), with proceeds from the drawing benefitting the Sallisaw Nutrition Center. Sue Mott (right) treasurer of the Council for the Sallisaw Senior Nutrition Center, said, “We congratulate the winner and thank everyone for the donations. We are truly blessed by this community. We will have a big sale coming soon at the center with lots of great things for the community to purchase.” Proceeds from the fundraisers provide the center with items needed which cannot be purchased with the federal funding for the program.
