Hands Against Child Abuse campaign underway

Hands Against Child Abuse is a campaign sponsored by the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office through its school resource officers at Moffett, Central, Gans, Liberty and Brushy Schools in conjunction with Child Abuse Prevention Month which is in April, according to Cindy Smith, investigator for the Special Victim’s Unit of the Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office.
