Are players in the portal disloyal or just greedy?

In newspaper, the iconic exclamation is “Stop the presses!” These days, as it applies to college football, I’m going with “Stop the merry-goround!” or “Stop the madness!” Maybe it’s because my generation grew up with loyalty being a major tenet for our lives. Or, maybe equally as important for me, that I’ve already moved way too many times in the past 25 years for my job —10 moves and five states — that I want someplace to call home.
