PORUM — The Webbers Falls High School basketball teams suffered a pair of road losses Tuesday night as the Lady Warriors lost 52-30 and the Warriors fell 44-42.
PORUM — The Webbers Falls High School basketball teams suffered a pair of road losses Tuesday night as the Lady Warriors lost 52-30 and the Warriors fell 44-42.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Panthers led 6-4 after a quarter and 18-12 at halftime, but they outscored the Lady Warriors 23-8 in the third period to take a 4120 lead.
In defeat, Teralynn Colston led the Lady Warriors (9-6), followed by Cheyenne Herrier with six points, Bridgette Baer with five points and Lextyn Chappell and Bentley Ward with two points apiece.
In the boys’ contest, the Panthers trailed 23-17 at halftime, but outscored the Warriors 24-19 in the second half to get the come-from-behind win.
In defeat, Stryker Chappell scored a gamehigh 19 points to led the Warriors (4-11), followed by Brutus Robinson with nine points, Braydan Robinson with six points, Gunner Shelby with four points, Denver Morgan with three points, Elliott Kunkel with two points and Luke Pierce with a free throw.
