Central Spelling Bee winners announced

Winners of the Central School Spelling Bee were Grand Champion fifth-grader Bricey Evans, sixth-grade runner-up Ivy Tackett and fifth-grade alternate runner-up Rylen Caughman.

Others who competed in the school spelling bee were third-graders Kammie Crawford and Jaxen Johnson, fourth-graders Sanzal Ali and Hudson Gann, and sixth-rader Jaxton Poindexter.

Grand Champion and runner up advance to state competition in Muskogee on April 26.
