Tulsa women finish 11th at The Show
LAS VEGAS — The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in 11th place at The Show with a total score of 904 on the par-72 Spanish Trail Country Club course.
LAS VEGAS — The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in 11th place at The Show with a total score of 904 on the par-72 Spanish Trail Country Club course.
Redshirt freshman Allyn Stephens paced the Hurricane with a 5-over par score of 221, following a 1-under round of 71on Tuesday. Stephens had birdies on No. 18, No. 7 and No. 11 after starting the shotgun round on hole 12 to finish the event in 21st place.
Tulsa sophomore Grace Kilcrease turned in a final round 76 and finished in 44th place with a 227 score, while junior Sydney Seigel placed 52nd with a 229 total. Sophomore Jenni Roller finished in 63rd place with a score of 233 and freshman Norah Seidl had her best round of the tournament with a 75 on Tuesday to finish in 73rd place overall with a 245 total score.
UCLA and Southern Methodist University tied for the team title with 6-under par scores of 858.
Tulsa will be back in action at the Mountainview Collegiate, which will take place next Friday through Sunday in Tucson, Ariz.
