Legislators declare state’s independence from ‘sinister motives’ of medical experts
Although Polly Tyler assured Sequoyah County Commissioners at their weekly meeting that she is “just a messenger” when she sees “the writing on the wall” and brings to the commissioners’ attention those scribblings, she was happy to update the board on Monday that state legislators heard the message that the World Health Organization (WHO) posed a threat to American sovereignty, prompting them to act quickly with measures that make it clear Oklahoma will not be dictated to when global medical experts recommend the best course of action to protect citizens when confronted with a deadly pandemic.
