Liberty celebrates with publishing party

Mrs. Barrett’s first grade class at Liberty Elementary in Sallisaw recently wrote and illustrated their very own book, and then had it published. To celebrate, they hosted their very own publishing party for their families to attend. Students’ families were invited and each student had the opportunity to read their page out of the book they wrote. The students also received their classroom awards from Mrs. Barrett. The best part? They were “candy” awards!
