Cowboy finishes No. 16 in PGA Tour University ranking
STILLWATER — Jonas Baumgartner, a senior for the Oklahoma State men’s golf team, checked in at No. 16 with the finalization of the 2024 Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour University Ranking following the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship.

With his standing, Baumgartner finishes among the group at Nos.11 through 25, which provides fully exempt membership on PGA TOUR Americas for 2024, as well as an exemption for Second Stage of 2024 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
A native of Bielefeld, Germany, he earned his second career victory this past spring for the Cowboys, claiming medalist honors at the Pauma Valley Invitational. As a junior, Baumgartner earned honorable mention All-America status and was a first-team All-Big 12 pick.
Players who finished Nos. 2 through 5 in the final ranking earned fully exempt Korn Ferry Tour membership for the remainder of the 2024 season, as well as an exemption to Final Stage of 2024 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, and the ability to accept unlimited PGA TOUR sponsor exemptions for the remainder of 2024 and 2025.
For players who finished Nos. 6 through 10 earned conditional Korn Ferry Tour membership for 2024, fully exempt PGA TOUR Americas membership for 2024, as well as an exemption to Second Stage of 2024 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
