Muldrow woman dies in collision

A Muldrow woman perished Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident about three miles east of Sallisaw.

Janet Needham, 66, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected when the 2012 Ram 3500 she was driving collided with a 2016 Ram 2500 driven by James Pezehouse, 54, of Warner, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

The collision occurred shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of East 1070 Road and South 4670 Road.

Neither Pezehouse nor his passenger, Richard Head, 56, of Checotah, were injured.
