Sallisaw Police seek community’s help

Following reports of gunshots Tuesday at Sallisaw Creek Park, Sallisaw Police are asking anyone with information about the reported shooting and the whereabouts of two Sallisaw residents believed to be connected to the gunshots to come forward as authorities continue to investigate the incident and search for the residents.

UPDATE: Police reported Wednesday that the residents were found unharmed, but authorities still ask anyone with information to contact Sallisaw police or Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Office.
