Making a difference

Who and what makes a difference? I think because we look for the effect of an act to be almost immediate, we miss the actual impact. Wobbling through life is not like pouring water on a fire to put it out, it is more often like pouring water on the sunflower seeds you have planted. It takes a bit to see the results. Not all seeds grow and those that do grow, grow at different rates.
