Opening of the new QuikTrip in Sallisaw is forecast to be about five months from now, according to those following the swift construction of the business at I-40 and U.S. 59.

When city commissioners approved the plat for the convenience store in February 2024, QT real estate manager Jake Barron said “it takes us about 50 weeks to build,” so QuikTrip No. 7017 should open about February 2025, maybe the first week of March.
