Commissioners table progress update of assessor’s office

A standing-room-only crowd of more than 40 people showed up Monday for the weekly meeting of the Sequoyah County Commissioners. Many were in attendance to witness the commissioners proclaim October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, while others were there for an executive session “to discuss the employment, hiring, appointment, promotion, demotion, disciplining or resignation of the Sequoyah County Assessor.”
