Girty sentenced for federal firearm charge

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma in Muskogee has announced that Kelly D. Girty, Jr., 30, of Gore, was sentenced to 46 months for illegally possessing a firearm. The court reportedly ordered the federal sentence to run consecutive to state sentences Girty received in the District Court of Sequoyah County.
