Lady Diamonds do well at Tahlequah Tournament
TAHLEQUAH — Several Sallisaw Lady Diamonds wrestlers did well at last week’s Tahlequah Tournament.
In the junior high division, Destiny Clarke at 102 pounds and Elecktra Locust at 180 pounds were champions.
In the high school girls division, Taylor Archuleta was runner-up at 100 pounds, Paige Frederick was third at 110 pounds and Natalie Flute (125 pounds) and Kimora Miller (135) were fourth.
In the junior high division, Gabriella McFarland was third at 82 pounds, Brooklyn Asbill (102 pounds) and Melania Duke (110) were fourth and Sunny Gregg was fifth at 96 pounds.
After the Lady Diamonds and Black Diamonds wrestled Tuesday night at Poteau, the Sallisaw squads will be home to wrestle Salina and Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday at Paul Post Field House.
