Commissioners continue scrutiny of county assessor’s office

Being a county assessor must not be as easy as some might believe it to be. Because after three executive sessions in the past four months, with Sequoyah County Commissioners meeting behind closed doors in aggregate for almost six hours in consultation with state and local officials, County Assessor Brandy Dobbs’ employment appears to still be unsettled.
