GOP state senator’s bill will allow recall elections
What can voters do when they regret their choice?
Not much, at least not in Oklahoma, where the only way to remove and elected state official is at the polls in the next election or by impeachment.
Ponca City Republican Sen. Bill Coleman would change all that. He issued a press release in which he said he will file a bill to amend the Oklahoma Constitution to allow for recall elections.
