Winter wonderland?
Eastern Oklahoma residents are wondering what’s in store for Thursday night into Friday. They’re wondering how cold it will be. They’re wondering if their vehicle will start. They’re wondering if their pipes will freeze. They’re wondering if school will be canceled. They’re wondering if they’ve got enough bread and milk, or if they need to make a last-minute run to the supermarket. They’re wondering about the accuracy of meteorologists, who have issued a winter storm watch. Sequoyah County Emergency Management says heavy snow is possible along with periods of sleet, with snow accumulations up to six inches possible. Maybe they should wonder if they’ll be able to stay home in front of the fire on Friday.
