Fishing report for February 5

EUFAULA: Feb. 7. Elevation is normal and stable. The water temperature is 46 degrees and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, buzz baits, crankbaits and jerk baits around channels, points, riprap and rocks. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait and shad around channels, river channel and river mouth. Crappie fair on hair jigs, jigs and spoons around brush structure, docks and standing timber. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.
