School closures for Thursday

School administrators have announced that due to continuing dangerous weather, most Sequoyah County schools will be closed Thursday, with some providing instruction through virtual learning and others observing a snow day. Both Muldrow and Roland school districts will be open, but some bus routes will not be available.

School districts closed are:

Belfonte (snow day)

Brushy (snow day)

Central (virtual learning)

Gans (virtual learning)

Gore (virtual learning)

Liberty (virtual learning)

Marble City (snow day)

Moffett

Sallisaw (snow day)

Webbers Falls (snow day)

Vian (snow day)

No decision has been announced for Carl Albert State College and ICTC.
