QuikTrip is abuzz with excitement on opening day
The newest QuikTrip store opened in Sallisaw Thursday morning at I-40 and U.S. 59.
Vehicles jockeyed for position as all the pumps were filled with customers celebrating the long-awaited opening of the convenience store and fuel plaza,
Inside the store it was a beehive of activity as customers selected items from the roller grill, the fountain drink station and the QT Kitchen.
QuikTrip is an $11 billion company that operates more than 1,000 stores in 17 states, with most of the stores in the Tulsa metro area. The Sallisaw location is the chain’s farthest east and farthest south Oklahoma location. But Sallisaw’s geographic claim will be short-lived. QT has property under contract in Roland for the development of another Sequoyah County location.
The store is open 24/7.
