Rangers runners-up in Oklahoma Grand Tournament, crown state champion
TULSA — The Roland Rangers archery team came in runnersup at the Oklahoma Grand Tournament, which took place March 4-5.
The Rangers finished seven points behind state champion North Rock Creek.
Two Rangers placed, including one being crowned a state champion — Seth Clark. Clark’s twin brother Garrett was two points behind him in third place.
This event only invites the top 20 to 25 teams from each division, based upon their qualifier scores throughout the regular tournament season.
The Oklahoma Grand Archery Tournament has four divisions — elementary school division, middle school division, high school division and high school varsity archery division, with the latter being the hunting bow division.
