How to learn about long-term care

Happy Spring! from your local Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, located at Eastern Oklahoma Development District, Area Agency on Aging. This month is National Volunteer Month, and EODD would like to recognize those that devote time to others. The Ombudsman program is always seeking volunteers to make a difference in someone’s life, one visit at a time. If an individual that has empathy and patience and wants to visit with the most vulnerable in the nursing home or assisted living facilities, becoming an Ombudsman Volunteer may be the way to contribute to your community.
